Police have warned members of the public not to approach a man who has absconded from an open prison.

Andrew Sharkey, 35, an inmate at HMP Castle Huntly near Dundee, was reported missing to police at 5.40pm on Friday.
It is believed he has connections in the Dundee and Perth area and officers have appealed for information about his whereabouts.
He is described as 5ft 11in, of medium build, clean shaven with short brown hair.
He was last seen wearing a dark hooded top and khaki trousers.
Police Scotland said anyone who sees him should not approach him and contact them on 101 or 999 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111
