Prisoner absconds from Castle Huntly

The public is being warned not to approach 54-year-old Frederick Boyd.

Police Scotland is appealing for information regarding the whereabouts of 54-year-old prisoner Frederick Boyd.

Boyd was reported missing at 11:15pm on Tuesday, 11 April after failing to return to HMP Castle Hunty after a period of home leave.

It is believed that he has connections in the Clydebank, Knightswood and Drumchapel areas of Glasgow.

He is described as being 5' 11" tall, of medium build, clean shaven with short brown hair.

Officers are warning anyone who sees him not to approach him, and to contact Police Scotland on 101.
