Power tools stolen from Dundee shed

Police are appealing for information on the incident which occurred between between 7pm on Thursday, 26th May and 8.30am on Friday 27th May

Police in Dundee are appealing for information following the theft of power tools from a garden shed in the Charleston area of the city.

The incident occurred overnight between 7pm on Thursday, 26th May and 8.30am on Friday 27th May, at an address on Balgathno Terrace.

A number of DeWALT branded power tools worth around £580 were stolen after entry was forced to a shed.

Police enquiries were carried out and revealed that a man had been seen acting in a suspicious manner in the South Road area.

Constable Finlay McInally of Lochee Police Office said: “Our enquiries into this incident are ongoing and I would ask that anyone with any information, or who saw or heard anything suspicious to get in touch.

“I would also ask anyone who lives in the area with a dash-cam, CCTV or doorbell camera to check your footage for anything of relevance.

"Anyone with information is asked to call Police Scotland via 101 quoting incident number on 0654 of 27 May, 2022."
