£3500 worth of damage caused and items stolen in Dundee break-in

Investigations are ongoing after a break in and theft in Dundee.

A number of items were taken from the Fairmuir Street premises including a quantity of cash.

There was also a considerable amount of damage caused during Saturday morning's incident, with the estimated value set to £3500.

Police say they're looking for a male suspect, who is described as white, average height wearing a dark coloured hooded top, dark coloured trousers and a face mask.

He was seen making off from the scene on a Carrera bike and heading towards the Kirkton area of Dundee, shortly after the incident between 4am and 4:15am.

PC Andrew McIlvenny said: “I am appealing to anyone who saw anything suspicious and may have information that could assist with our enquiries to get in touch.

“In addition, anyone with private CCTV or dash-cam footage that could help with our investigation is also asked to contact us.”
