Police warn young people about the dangers of entering derelict Angus hospital
The former Strathmartine Hospital building - on the outskirts of Dundee - has been targeted and set on fire numerous times.
Police in Tayside are warning young people about the dangers of entering a local derelict hospital building.
The Strathmartine Hospital has been targeted and set on fire on multiple occasions.
The most recent incident was on Friday the 7th of June when firefighters were called to another major blaze at the site.
Officers have now issued a warning about the building and how those going inside risk serious injury or even death.
Angus Community Officer PC Spence says the floors may be weak and ceilings and walls could collapse at any time.
There have been calls for tighter security at the building on the outskirts of Dundee.
Tayside Police say they will now be carrying out extra patrols in the area.
