Appeal after collision between police vehicle and car in Dundee

An 18 year old man's been arrested and charged following the incident

Police are appealing for witnesses after a road traffic incident in Dundee on Tuesday 6 December 2022 that resulted in a collision between an unmarked police vehicle and another car.

The incident began on Clepington Road in Dundee at around 10.10am when a white Ford Focus was signalled to stop by officers in a police vehicle.

It ended a short time later in a supermarket car park at Kingsway Retail Park following a collision between both vehicles.

No one was injured as a result of the collision.

Following the incident an 18-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with a number of offences.

A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.

Sergeant Kevin Wilkie said: “We are continuing with enquiries to establish the full circumstances and would ask anyone who may have seen the collision at Kingsway Retail Park or who has any other information to come forward.
