Police seize £220,000 worth of drugs at Dundee property

Police have recovered a haul of heroin and cocaine in Dundee, with an estimated street value of £220,000.

It was recovered from an address on Bellefield Avenue, which was searched under warrant on Tuesday.

Two men, aged 27 and 25, are due to appear at Dundee Sheriff Court today.

Detective Inspector Stewart Forsyth, Specialist Crime Division said: “A significant amount of heroin and cocaine was recovered, highlighting our ongoing commitment to remove controlled drugs from our communities and reduce the harm caused by illegal substances. "Two men aged 27 and 25 are expected to appear at Dundee Sheriff Court today as a result of this seizure and further enquiries are ongoing.

“I want to thank our communities for their support. By providing information to us about drug-related criminality we can take positive action to search properties under warrant, seize controlled drugs and arrest those involved in their supply.
