The dad of three was reported missing after he failed to return home from the festival on Monday.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: Inquiries into the full circumstances are continuing but the death is being treated as unexplained at this time.''
Officers are appealing for anyone who saw a man wearing a grey waterproof Regatta jacket, red shorts and black work boots in the area of the A9 near
Forteviot or the surrounding areas between 2.15pm on Monday and 9.15am the following day to call 101.
