Police say toddler's fall from flat window was accident
2 year old plunged from fourth floor of property in Torry area of Aberdeen on Monday
An incident in which a two-year-old boy fell from the window of a fourth-storey flat in Aberdeen was accidental, police have said.
The toddler was rushed to Royal Aberdeen Children's Hospital before being transferred to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow following the incident in the Torry area on Monday afternoon.
Police were investigating what had caused the fall and have concluded there are no suspicious circumstances.
The two-year-old remains in a stable condition in hospital.
A force spokesman said: "Police Scotland can confirm that the investigation into an accident involving a two-year-old child falling from a window in the Balnagask area of Torry on Monday October 31, 2016, has concluded there are no suspicious circumstances.''
