Police Return To Scene Of Bridge of Earn Indecent Exposures
Officers investigating two separate incidents of indecent exposure last weekend in Bridge of Earn will be returning to the scene, one week after the incidents.
The officers will be attempting to identify any further witnesses who may have seen or heard anything suspicious. Police will be making enquiries in the area and will be stopping and speaking to motorists, dog walkers and local residents who may have been in the areas of Paradise Avenue and Earngrove.
On Saturday 19 September at 5.40pm, two 12 year old girls were walking in the Earngrove area of Bridge of Earn when they were approached by a man in a car who spoke briefly to them before exposing himself.
Also, on Sunday 20 September at about 5pm a different pair of 12 year old girls were walking in Paradise Avenue when they were approached by what is believed to be the same man in his car, who again exposed him.
The man is described as being Asian in appearance aged between 35-45 years old, with a beard but no moustache which was quite long on the chin. The man is understood to have been driving a small blue coloured car. Enquiries so far have revealed that the car is known to have driven through the Balmanno and Kintillo areas and was seen in Paradise Avenue, Kintillo Road and Earngrove. Officers are asking any members of the public who have private CCTV systems to contact Police Scotland on 101.
Anyone with any information that may be useful should contact Police Scotland, Tayside Division on 101, or any police officer. Alternatively information can be passed anonymously via the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
