Police name woman who died in Perthshire crash
Woman who died in St Fillans crash named as 24 year old Shona Mitchell
Police have named the woman who died in a road crash in Perthshire at the weekend.
Shona Mitchell, aged 24 years from Crieff, died at the scene when her motorcycle was involved in a collision with a motor car on the A85 at St Fillans on Sunday afternoon.
Her family say they are understandably upset by their sudden loss and have said that she will be greatly missed.
The driver of the car sustained minor injuries in the collision.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said:
“Enquiries are ongoing and Tayside Division would appeal for anyone who may have information that could assist officers with their enquiries to contact Tayside Division on 101. As with all sudden deaths a report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
