Police name woman killed in car crash on A90 near Errol

The 32-year-old was a passenger in the car when it was involved in a collision at around 11.05am on Friday

A woman who died after a car crash on the A90 in Tayside has been named by police.

Rebecca Tasker, 32, was a passenger in a black Nissan Micra when it was involved in a collision near Errol, in Perth and Kinross, at around 11.05am on Friday.

The other four occupants of the vehicle - a 29-year old man, a 20-year-old man, a seven-year-old girl and a 10-year-old boy - were taken to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee for treatment.

The road was closed for six hours as an investigation took place.

Road Policing Sergeant Strachan said: “Our thoughts remain with the family of Rebecca at this very difficult time.

"Enquiries are continuing into the incident.

“Anyone who may have witnessed it or has dash-cam footage which could assist in our investigation is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting reference number quoting 1349 of 11 August, 2022.”
