Police name tractor driver killed in road crash

A tractor driver who died in a crash on a country road has been named.

Alexander Strang, 64, from Tealing, Angus, died at the scene of the crash near Rait, Perth and Kinross, at about 1.20pm on Wednesday.

Police are appealing for witnesses to contact them.

A force spokesman said: "His family are understandably upset by their sudden loss and have said that he will be greatly missed.

"They do not wish to make any further comments and have requested that their privacy is respected at this difficult time."
