Police looking for man in connection with DUSA assault

Police have released photographs of a man they are looking to talk to in connection with a serious assault in Dundee University Student Union on 8 May 2016.

Police have released photographs of a man they are looking to talk to in connection with a serious assault in Dundee University Student Union on 8 May 2016.

The incident occurred on the grass area outside the Union at around 1.30am and the victim sustained a serious facial injury requiring hospital treatment.

Police officers are keen to speak to the man shown in the images as they believe that he may be able to assist with their enquiries.

He is described as 5ft 7 in height, with dark short hair and at the time of the incident, he was wearing a navy blue shirt with white t-shirt underneath, dark navy jeans and navy blue trainers with a white rim. He may be known as "Matty."

Officers are appealing for anyone with any information or who may recognise the man in the image to contact them on 101.
