Police investigation into 'men taking pictures of children' finds no criminality
Officers have said there is no wider risk to the public
Police Scotland has said that it is aware of social media reports of men taking pictures of children at various locations in Perth.
The force has confirmed that officers have traced the men involved and, after an investigation, no criminality has been established.
Chief Inspector Tom Leonard, Area Commander, Perth and Kinross Local Policing Area said:
“We have looked into the circumstances surrounding these reports and although we understand the upset this has caused to many parents, we would like to assure everyone that there was no risk to the children or the wider community.”
