Police investigation after body found on beach in Anstruther
The discovery was made this morning
An investigation has been launched after a body was discovered on the beach near Anstruther Golf Course this morning.
Police were called to the scene near Shore round around 6.40am.
We don't yet know the circumstances surrounding the person's death.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said:
"Around 6.40 am on Friday, 10 March 2023, police were called after a body was found on a beach near the golf club in Anstruther, Fife.
"Officers remain at the scene and enquiries are continuing."
