Police hunt for five young boys after vehicles vandalised in Dundee

Windscreens were smashed and mirrors broken on vehicles at Gourdie Industrial Estate

Police in Tayside are looking for five young boys after vehicles at an industrial estate in Dundee were vandalised.

Windscreens were smashed and mirrors were broken off of five industrial vehicles, costing thousand of pounds worth of damage.

It happened in Smeaton Road, Gourdie Industrial Estate, between 7.50pm and 8.30pm on Saturday 11th June.

Officers say five youths were seen on CCTV within the compound and are all aged between 12-15.

They're described as:

1: Male, slim build, wearing a grey hoodie and dark bottoms.

2: Male, slim build, wearing a jumper which was grey on the bottom, white in the middle and navy or black on top.

3: Male, wearing grey jogging bottoms and a dark coloured jumper.

4: Female, average build, wearing a striped black and white knee length dress.

The fifth is not further described. Two of these youths were later seen wearing a green and orange hi-visibility work jacket.

Police Scotland issues the following statement:

"If you have any information that could assist our enquiries, please call 101 or speak to any police officer. Also, information can be given anonymously through CrimeStoppers on 0800 555 111. Our reference number for this incident is 3066 of 12th June."
