Police hunt two men following serious assault in Bankfoot
The victim was left with injuries to his hand, face and body
An investigation has been launched after a man was seriously assaulted in Perthshire yesterday evening.
He was approached by two men who attacked him in Church Lane in Bankfoot at around 5:45pm, leaving him with injuries to his hand, face and body.
Police say they are following a positive line of enquiry, but they want to speak to a female dog walker who passed by shortly after the incident.
They are also urging members of the public to come forward, by speaking to an officer, or calling 101.
