Police call for witness support after serious asssault on teen in Dundee

They want a man and woman to come forward after a 15-year-old boy was taken to hospital with facial injuries

There's an appeal for two witnesses to come forward after a teenage boy was seriously assaulted in Dundee.

The 15-year-old was taken to hospital with facial injuries after being attacked in Spey Drive just before 6 on Friday the 16th of November.

Police want a man who was in his car at nearby junction - and may have seen the incident - to get in touch.

They also want to hear from a woman who returned a five pound note that the boy dropped during the assault.

A spokesperson from Police Scotland, said: "We are keen to trace a man who we believe witnessed the incident, he wearing a white t shirt and had stopped his car at the junction of Deveron Terrace /Spey Drive and said he wasn’t from this area.

"A woman with shoulder length bobbed hair may have also witnessed the incident and we are keen to speak with her.

"She handed the injured boy a £5 note that he had dropped in the street during the assault.
