Police Appeal after Man Assaulted in Dundee Park

Police Scotland is appealing for witnesses after a serious assault took place at Ormiston Park in Dundee at about 10pm on Friday 7 August. A group of three men were in the area when they were approached by a large group of youths aged between 15 and 18 years old. An altercation took place and one of the men suffered a hand injury which required hospital treatment. Officers are keen to trace the youths. One of the them is described as male, aged between 15-16 years old, approximately 5'9'' in height and of thin build. He was wearing a burgundy Adidas hooded top and black or blue jeans. A second youth is described as male, aged about 16 years old, 5'6'' tall, of medium build, with medium length bushy hair, wearing glasses. He wearing a light blue hooded top, light grey jogging bottoms. A third youth is described as aged between 16-18 years old, 5'10 in height, of slim build, with medium length blonde hair. He wearing a blue rain coat and light grey tracksuit bottoms. Anyone with any information that may be useful should contact Police Scotland, Tayside Division on 101, or any police officer.
