Police Appeal After Man Assaulted In Dundee

Police Scotland is appealing for information after a man was assaulted in Dundee.

The 50 year old was set upon on at the public footpath at the northside of Craigie Avenue at it's junction with Carlochie Place last night. At about 6.45pm the victim was walking with a dog when he was approached by a man who shouted at him and was thereafter assaulted.

The victim suffered minor injuries. The suspect is described as being in his late 40's, 5'5" to 5'6" tall, stocky build with brown short/receding hair.

He was wearing black shoes, dark navy blue suit trousers, a brown or black belt, a light blue shirt and a grey suit jacket with black lapels.
