Officers in Perth are appealing for information after a man walked into RS McColls Newsagents in Rannoch Road, Perth at 6.45pm on Monday 26 October, threatened a staff member with a weapon and demanded cash before making off with a four-figure sum of money.
Officers in Perth are appealing for information after a man walked into RS McColls Newsagents in Rannoch Road, Perth at 6.45pm on Monday 26 October, threatened a staff member with a weapon and demanded cash before making off with a four-figure sum of money. The 44 year old staff member was shocked but unhurt by the incident. The suspect is described as aged late 40's to early 50's, approximately five feet ten inches in height, wearing a grey hooded top with the hood up and a light coloured denim style jacket. He also wore dark coloured jogging bottoms and his face was covered with a beige or grey coloured scarf. Investigations are continuing in the area, with officers carrying out door to door enquiries and a review CCTV footage is underway. Police Scotland would appeal to anyone who was in the area at the time of the incident, or who has information that could assist to call 101 or speak to any officers.
