Police are appealing for information after a caravan was deliberately set on fire in Broughty Ferry.

The Art for All business on Grove Road was targeted at around 11.25 pm on Friday.

Just weeks ago, the vehicle was vandalised during a spate of graffiti attacks

A vehicle, fence and surrounding trees were also damaged during Friday nights blaze.

"I am beyond devastated"

Owner, Andrea Douglas, said on the Art for All Facebook page: "My business, mine and my daughters personal things all destroyed.

"Thank goodness she was not home.

"I am resilient and I will rebuild it all but it will take time".

A crowdfunding campaign for the artist has raised more than ÂŁ3,000.

Police appeal

Police Constable Steven Wallace said: “The fire is being treated as suspicious, and we are appealing for anyone with any information to come forward.

“I would ask anyone with doorbell camera footage or private CCTV to get in touch; you may have captured something that can assist our enquiries.

“Anyone with any information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting 4733 of Friday, 7 July, 2023.”
