Police appeal for help to find missing Montrose pensioner
74-year-old Yahya Ghassemazadeh is believed to have boarded a flight from Aberdeen to Paris last month
There's an appeal for anyone who may have heard from a missing Montrose pensioner to come forward.
Police believe Yaya Ghassemazadeh - who's also known as John Cowry - took a flight from Aberdeen to Paris on 12 October and may have travelled on from there.
Officers want to speak to anyone who may have heard from the 74-year-old since.
A spokesperson from Police Scotland said: "We would also like to speak with anyone who may have spoken with him on his flight or at the airport, or anyone with whom he discussed his travel plans.
"Yahya is about 6ft tall and medium build, with short grey / white hair. He is usually well dressed, although we do not know what he was wearing when he left the country.
"If you have any information that could help us trace him, please call 101."
