Police are appealing for information following a spate of vandalism in the Stobswell area of Dundee.

Vandals have targeted bus shelters, an ATM and a residential development recently.

Police Sergeant Alex Munro said: "There is nothing whatsoever to be achieved by vandalism other than creating needless expense and upset for others.

"It harms people's feelings of community safety and impacts on the appearance of local areas.

"Local officers will be undertaking high visibility foot patrols in the area and will be working alongside community wardens to provide reassurance and community engagement."
