Police appeal after Arbroath jewellery thefts

Police Scotland is appealing for witnesses following two break-ins at addresses in Arbroath that happened between Thursday, September 29 and Saturday, October 1.

Around £4,000 worth of jewellery including cufflinks, gold and pearl pendants, gold chains, gold earrings, engagement and wedding rings were stolen from a house in Bellevue Gardens, Arbroath, along with a three-figure sum of cash.

The theft happened sometime between 3.30pm on Thursday and 6pm on Saturday.

In Bishoploch Road, Arbroath a house was broken into and a pearl necklace was stolen sometime between 1pm and 9pm on Thursday.

Anyone who has information that could assist officers with their enquiries into these crimes should contact Police Scotland on 101.
