Perth police car chase ends in arrest
Officers pursued a stolen vehicle yesterday evening
A man has been arrested after a police car chase in Perth.
Officers tried to stop a stolen vehicle on Crieff Road around 5.25pm yesterday but had to pursue when the driver continued on.
The chase ended on Barossa Place and the 26 year-old man was taken into custody in connection with road traffic offences.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 5.25pm on Monday, 13 May, 2023 a car which had been reported stolen failed to stop for officers on Crieff Road in Perth.
“A short pursuit took place which concluded on Barossa Place.
“A 26-year-old man has been arrested in connection with road traffic offences and enquiries remain ongoing."
