Police Scotland say the fire is being treated as 'wilful'

Police have arrested a woman in Perth in connection with a house fire.

Officers were called to the blaze, at around 8:40pm on Thursday, 13th March, at a property on Drummond Crescent.

No one was injured as a result of the fire.

Police say enquires are ongoing.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 8.40pm on Thursday, 13 March, we were called to a report of a fire at a property on Drummond Crescent in Perth.

“Emergency services attended and the fire was extinguished by the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service.

“No one was injured but adjacent properties were evacuated as a precaution.

“The fire is being treated as wilful and a woman has been arrested in connection.

“Enquiring are ongoing.”
