Residents have been evacuated after fire crews were called to a blaze at a house in Perth.
A spokesperson for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said: "We were alerted at 5.48 am on Monday, August 22 to reports of a fire within a house on James Street, Perth.
“Operations control mobilised four appliances and firefighters are tackling the fire.”
Four fire engines were sent to the scene after it was reported around 6 o'clock this morning.
Local diversions are in place.
