Dad killed in Perth recycling centre explosion named by Police

The man who lost his life following an explosion and fire at a recycling plan in Perth has been named as Slawomir Szmeichel.
The 46-year-old, known to his friends and family as SÅawek, was from Perth.
The incident happened around 12.45am at the Shore recycling centre on Friarton Road on Tuesday, 28 February.
Another man, aged 41, was taken to Ninewells Hospital and has since been discharged.
SÅawekās family said: āWe're heartbroken with the sudden loss of our loved husband, Dad, brother, son, and friend, without whom our lives will never be the same.
āSÅawek will remain in our thoughts and our hearts forever.ā
Detective Inspector James Callander, of Police Scotlandās Major Investigation Team, said: āOur thoughts remain with SÅawekās family and friends at what is a very difficult time for them.
āOur enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances of what has happened and these enquiries are being carried out in partnership with relevant agencies.ā
