An investigation is underway after an assault at Perth bus station in the early hours of Friday 30th, August.

The attack's believed to have happened at around 3:50am.

This resulted in the station being closed off as officers investigated and buses had to pick up passengers from Leonard Street instead.

A spokesman for Tayside Police said: "Officers are following a positive line of enquiry and there is no threat to the public.

"There has been a police presence at the bus station for some time to allow investigative work to proceed, but this has been completed and the station is now fully re-opened."
