Pensioner Taken to Ninewells after Abroath Collision
An 87-year-old woman’s been taken to Ninewells Hospital for treatment after she was hit by a van in Arbroath.
An 87-year-old woman’s been taken to Ninewells Hospital for treatment after she was hit by a van in Arbroath.
Emergency services were called to the town’s Ponderlaw Street at around 10.15am today to reports of a collision involving a pensioner and one vehicle. When they arrived they found the woman had suffered leg injuries which are not thought to be serious but required hospital treatment.
The 47-year-old man's been issued with a conditional fixed penalty following the incident.
