Harry Canning has been sentenced to nine years jail after being convicted for a number of serious sexual offences.
The 80-year-old had previously been found guilty in October at the High Court in Livingston.
Police Scotland say Canning: "subjected two vulnerable females to horrendous sexual abuse." This included rape and sexual assault.
The sexual abuse was committed against two female children prior to them becoming teenagers and continued until they were both young adults.
The abuse occurred during a seven year period between 2010 and 2017 and took place at various locations in the Perth area and within the Levenmouth area of Fife.
The investigation by the Fife Division Public Protection Unit began in April 2019 and lead to Canning being arrested and charged in May 2019.
Detective Constable Alastair Gibson said: “Harry Canning subjected two vulnerable females to horrendous sexual abuse over a number of years. Canning is a predator who has refused to admit his guilt and shown no remorse for his actions.
“I would like to commend the victims for their courage throughout this investigation and trial. They finally have justice and I hope that this will help them moving forward."
