Omar Pacha leaves Dundee Stars
The head coach and general manager most recently led the team to the final four of the 2022 Premier Sports Elite League Playoffs

Dundee Stars head coach and general manager Omar Pacha has left the club after five years in charge.
Pacha took control in Dundee in 2017 and most recently led the team to the 2022 Premier Sports Elite League Playoffs final four for the first time since 2017.

In his last games at the helm the Stars lost 6-0 to the number one seed Belfast Giants in the play-off semi-finals and 7-5 to Guilford Flames in the third place playoff.
The stars saw a large support backing them in their play-off campaign as hundreds of fans made the trip to Nottingham.
Commenting on the departure, Dundee Stars Director Steve Ward said: “Omar Pacha has been an integral part of the club since he joined and this has led to an opportunity Omar felt he couldn’t turn down.
"Everyone at the club wishes him the best in his new role”.
Omar said: “I can’t thank everyone at the club enough, they have been great since I arrived and it was not an easy decision to leave.
The support of the fans has been incredible and I have had the opportunity to work with a number of great players.
I wish the Dundee Stars the best, and hope they continue to grow both on and off the ice”.
Pacha is set to join "one of the top clubs in the country as a CEO" following his departure from the Dundee Stars according to Director Steve Ward speaking to Dundee Stars TV.
Ward also added that a new head coach has been appointed with an announcement set to come near the end of the week.
