Dundee United will be without nine players for tomorrow's trip to Livingston.

They're already missing boss Micky Mellon and his backroom team who are self-isolating - after three staff members tested positive for covid

It means academy coach Thomas Courts will be in the dugout tomorrow, he said safety's a priority.

"I've not been too close to the decisions that the club are taking with regards to protocols and guidelines, but my feeling from the outside looking in is that we always take a zero risk approach and we'll always do what's right to maximise the safety of players and staff." he said.

"I've been at the club for 14 months now. I've got a good understanding of the players. I do some opposition analysis work for the first team on a weekend.

"I've seen Livingston play three of four times this year."
