New home for St Andrews Aquarium’s penguins

The new £50,000 pounds enclosure is nicknamed ‘Penguin’s Cove’ and his home to the six animals, named after Andy Murray and members of his family.

Six Humboldt penguins at St Andrews Aquarium are settling into their newly revamped surroundings.

The new £50,000 pounds enclosure is nicknamed ‘Penguin’s Cove’ and his home to the six animals, named after Andy Murray and members of his family.

John Mace, Managing Director of St Andrews Aquarium, said: “We're delighted by the transformation of our penguin enclosure at St Andrews Aquarium.

“It's been great to see the penguins enjoying their new home.”
