Motorcyclist seriously injured in collision with VW Golf

A motorcyclist has been airlifted to hospital with serious injuries after his bike was involved in a crash with a car.

The collision, between a white Triumph motorcycle and a black Volkswagen Golf, happened on the A822 Braco to Crieff Road, Perth and Kinross, at around 4.20pm on Saturday.

Police Scotland said the 27-year-old man riding the motorcycle was seriously injured and was airlifted to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee.

The male driver of the car and its female passenger were uninjured.

Police are appealing for anyone who saw the collision or either of the vehicles before the crash to call them on 101.
