A motorcyclist has died following a three-vehicle road crash.

The collision, involving two cars and a motorbike, happened at around 1.45pm on Thursday on the A93 near Guildtown in Perthshire.

Police said the 56-year-old man riding the motorbike died following the crash.

A police spokesman said: "Police Scotland can confirm that, sadly, a 56-year-old man has died following the road traffic collision on the A93 near Guildtown yesterday (Thursday 26th).

"His next of kin have been informed and our thoughts are with them at this time."
