Motorcyclist Dies After Angus Crash
A motorcyclist has died after his bike was involved in a crash with a van. The collision between a white Peugeot van and the Honda motorcycle happened at around 1.45pm on Craig Road in Ferryden, Angus. The man riding the motorbike died at the scene, police later confirmed. He will not be named until his family has been told and formal identification has taken place. The van driver, who was the only person in the vehicle, was not injured. The road was closed to allow investigations to be carried out. Police in Tayside are asking anyone who witnessed the collision to contact them on 101 or speak to a police officer.
