Mother and son die in Dundee fire
Police name man and woman killed in Dundee flat fire
A mother and son have been identified as the victims of a flat fire in Dundee.
Evelyn McCabe, 56, and 31-year-old Steven Bown were pulled from the Park Avenue blaze and treated by paramedics but later died.
Five crews attended the third-floor tenement flat at around 7am on Thursday following a call from a member of the public.
A police spokesman said: Police Scotland is continuing to carry out a joint investigation with the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service into the circumstances of the fire.''
