Gary McAllister: There's still a lot more to come from Glen Kamara
The midfielder signed a new deal through to the summer of 2025
Rangers assistant Gary McAllister thinks they're still to see the best of Glen Kamara.
The 25-year old has signed a contract extension to keep him at Ibrox until the summer of 2025 and played the full 90 minutes as they beat Livingston 2-0 in the quarter-finals of the Premier Sports Cup.
Kemar Roofe and Alfredo Morelos scored the goals as Steven Gerrard's men booked their place at Hampden for the last four.
Hours earlier the club revealed Finland international Kamara had agreed a new deal and assistant Gary McAllister says there's still a lot more to come from him.
He said: "I've got to say I'm a big fan. I'm a massive fan of Glen Kamara.
"He has been outstanding since the day he arrived and he just keeps on improving.
"I watch him when he plays for his national team and he's a player that plays with a lot of poise and a lot of class.
"I think there's still a lot of growth in Glen. If he could go and step forward and maybe get a goal - that would add a lot to his CV as well.
"We're delighted that he has signed a long term contract. He's a quality player who we think can still improve.
"He's a very, very talented boy".
