Montrose emergency leaves several people in ambulance service care
Multiple agencies responded to the incident involving "potentially hazardous materials"

Several people became unwell after an emergency in Montrose.
Police, fire and ambulance crews were called to Meridian Street, where there were reports of potentially hazardous materials.
At its height, three fire appliances and specialist HAZMAT resources were sent to a building there around 10am.
Nine people were taken into the care of the Scottish Ambulance Service but did not require hospital treatment.
Police Scotland has also told us there is no wider risk to the public.
Crews have now left the scene.
Shortly after the incident, a Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 10.20am on Wednesday, 6 November, 2024, we were called to attend a premises in the Meridan Street area of Montrose following a report of a number of people becoming unwell.
“Emergency services are currently in attendance dealing with the incident, however there is no risk to the wider public.”
And a spokesperson for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service told Tay FM: “We were alerted at 10.07am on Wednesday, 6 November, to an incident in a building on Meridan Street, Montrose, involving potentially hazardous materials.
"At its height, Operations Control mobilised three fire appliances and specialist HAZMAT resources to the scene.
"Nine casualties were handed into the care of the Scottish Ambulance Service and did not require hospital treatment.
"Crews left the scene after ensuring the area was made safe."
