Police are appealing for the public's help to trace missing 16-year-old Courtney Watson from Dundee.

She was last seen around 10.10 am on Monday 25th July in the Mid-Craigie area of the city.

Courtney is described as white, around 5 ft 2 in height, of slim build, has long dark dyed hair and was wearing a black bomber jacket, black leggings and peach coloured Converse trainers with a ‘Tweety-Pie’ logo.

Since reported missing, officers have been checking CCTV around where she lives and also in the areas she is known to frequent which includes the Charleston area of Dundee, however, so far there have been no further sightings of her.

Sergeant Beverley Symon, Downfield Police Station, Dundee, said:

“Courtney is only 16 years of age and as she has not been in touch with family or friends, as far as we are aware, for nearly two days now, we have concern for her well-being and safety. We don’t believe she has money or a mobile phone with her so we would ask anyone who knows where she is or who may have any information that may help us find her, to please call police via 101 quoting reference number 3788 of Monday, 25 July, 2022.

“We’d also ask Courtney herself to contact police as we just want to make sure she is safe and well.”
