Missing teenage girls found safe and well in Dundee

The two girls from England had been missing for almost a week

Two teenage girls, from Kent and Harrow in England, who were missing have been located at an address in Dundee. A 20 year old man has been arrested at a seperate location in city and a 54 year old man is due in court in England charged with abduction and modern slavery.

Police were becoming increasingly concerned about their whereabouts and had urged them "to get in touch when it was safe to do so".

It was feared they may have been taken by "people who could do them harm" It was feared they may have been taken by people who could harm them.

However, they were found safe and well on Thursday 7 Octoberas a spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said: "They are safe and well and are being supported by specialist officers."

They added: "A 20-year-old male was arrested at a separate address in Dundee on Thursday, 7th October. He remains in custody at a Police Scotland facility.

"A 54-year-old man arrested on Tuesday, 5th October was charged on Thursday, 7th October with child abduction and modern slavery. He appears in custody, at Willesden Magistrates court later today.

"Detectives from the Met’s North West Command Unit investigate. Enquiries continue."
