'Come home' - Father of missing Dundee man makes emotional appeal to son amid Borders sighting
The father of a missing Dundee man believed to be in the Scottish Borders has made an emotional appeal to his son to come home.
Concern's growing for the well-being of David Montgomery - also known as DJ - who disappeared on his way to work at the Bruach Bar in Broughty Ferry on Sunday.
He was captured on CCTV in North Berwick around 8am on Tuesday, and now, in an appeal to the public for help to trace him, police reveal they believe he may now be in the Peebles area.
The 27-year-old is described as 6ft 3, slim/medium build, with short black hair and a beard.
When last seen, he was wearing black jeans, a black jumper with white writing across the chest, a dark coloured baseball cap, black face mask and was carrying a black rucksack.
His dad, also called David, told us: "He's easily approachable, he gets on with most people - in fact, all people I woud say; and we just want him home."
Appealing directly to his son, he added: "We're all very worried about you DJ and we just want you to come home as soon as possible."
Anyone who may have seen David Montgomery, or who has any information on his whereabouts, is urged to contact Police Scotland via 101 quoting incident number 3160 of 28/06/2021.
