The family of Declyn Cunningham, who has been missing for almost a week, have expressed their determination to "not give up" as efforts to locate the 30-year-old continue.
Mr Cunningham was last spotted near Smeaton's Bridge in Perth at 4.45am on Thursday, December 18th.
His family have shared a heartfelt statement via Police Scotland, saying everyone in their family shares the same "Christmas wish" for his safe return.
"This unimaginable week has almost passed and it's never been clearer how much you are loved and adored by so many," the statement reads.
"At this time of year, we all have the same Christmas wish of you returning home to us. We love you unconditionally Dec.
"Our family would like to thank all the efforts, response and overwhelming support from all who are helping in the search to bring Declyn home to us.
"We are forever grateful and will not give up until you are home."
Mr Cunningham is described as being around 5ft 11in tall with a shaved head and a tattoo on the back of his neck.
He was last seen wearing black trousers, a black coat, and a beanie hat.
Search efforts continue
Sergeant Lindsay Brown has said that searches are ongoing to find Mr Cunningham.
"It has been almost a week since Declyn was last seen and we are aware how difficult this continues to be for his family and friends, especially over the festive period," Sergeant Brown said.
"Despite extensive searches and enquiries involving specialist teams and partner agencies, Declyn remains missing. We continue to review all available information and will act on any new details which come to light.
"I would again urge anyone who has not yet spoken to police, or who may have even the smallest piece of information, to get in touch. No detail is too minor and may assist with our enquiries."
Anyone with information is urged to contact Police Scotland by calling 101.
