Medals and jewellery stolen from home of Scots Olympian Eilish Mccolgan
Thieves broke into the Dundee athlete's house in Manchester some time on Wednesday afternoon.
Olympic and Commonwealth medals have been stolen from the home of Dundee athlete Eilish Mccolgan.
The 28-year-old said she was ‘upset and angry’ after thieves also took jewellery from her house in Manchester on Wednesday.
The long-distance runner had just travelled to Sweden with her partner for the Stockholm Diamond League event.
Her house was found ‘trashed’ by her dad and her dog was locked away in another room.
She's represented Team GB in both the Olympics and Commonwealth Games.
