Man who got trapped breaking into Angus factory has been charged

The 30-year-old was rescued from the Kirriemuir firm on Sunday after emergency services found him with serious leg injuries

A man who got trapped breaking into an Angus factory has been charged.

Emergency services were called to Marywell Brae in Kirriemuir on sunday where they found a 30-year-old man with a serious leg injury.

It's believed he was stuck there for two days.

A Police Scotland spokesman said: “We can confirm a 30-year-old man has been charged in connection with an attempted housebreaking at a factory on Marywell Brae in Kirriemuir on Sunday, 23 November.

“A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal."
