Man treated for serious injuries following Angus crash

It happened on the A92, near to the Kinnaber Road junction, and involved a Land Rover Discovery and a Ford C-Max car.

A man is being treated for serious injuries following a road crash in Angus on Sunday night.

It happened on the A92, near to the Kinnaber Road junction, and involved a Land Rover Discovery travelling north and a Ford C-Max car travelling south.

The 64-year-old man driving the Ford C-Max was taken to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee with serious injuries.

The 34-year-old male driver of the Land Rover sustained minor injuries.

The road was closed for several hours as detectives carried out an investigation into the circumstances of the collision.

Officers are keen to trace the driver of a white pick-up style vehicle that was travelling on the A92 at the time of the incident to come forward and contact Police Scotland to assist officers with their on-going enquiries.
