Man target of racial abuse and attempted robbery in Guthrie Port

Police are hunting two men after an attempted robbery in Guthrie Port, Arbroath.

A Nigerian man was approached near the Morrison's supermarket and subjected to racist comments.

The men then demanded money from him, before running away in the direction of the Tesco store at Stobcross.

They are described as white and in their early 20s, and both spoke with local accents.

One is around 5ft 8 and slim, wearing grey trousers and a grey top, and the other is around 6ft and stocky, wearing a blue top.

Both spoke with local accents.
